Christmas version of “The Magic, the Memories, and You” on Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World

Visit www.InsideTheMagic.net for more from Christmas time at Walt Disney World! For the holiday season, Walt Disney World has updated its “The Magic, the Memories, and You!” Cinderella Castle projection show at the Magic Kingdom to include Christmas elements, virtually transforming the castle into a giant wrapped present, adorning it with colored lights, covering it with gingerbread, and even briefly bringing back the infamous Cinderella Castle cake from the 25th anniversary celebration. Jump to 06 to see the added Christmas segment, which replaces a sequence that makes the castle appear as the though the sun is passing by, ultimately fading into an “old film” style. The rest of the show is mainly the same as the regular version.

NEW Fantasyland Expansion Construction 2012 Magic Kingdom Walt Disney World 03/14/2012

Here’s my newest video showing the progress of New Fantasyland. I walk through all of the areas currently under construction. Notice the construction wall has been moved to cover all the way to where the old Dumbo ride was located. Storybook Circus is expected to open later this month. At the end of this video you can see the new Train Station in New Fantasyland at parts of Storybook Circus. More info about the FantasyLand Expansion: The land is currently undergoing a large expansion and renovation. “The New Fantasyland will be constructed in phases with most new experiences open by 2013.” Recent conceptual artwork for the expansion shows several new additions and changes. Included is a new dark ride themed to Disney’s 1989 film The Little Mermaid (also opening at Disney California Adventure) and an area themed to Disney’s 1991 film Beauty and the Beast featuring The Beast’s Castle with a new dining experience, Gaston’s tavern, and Belle’s cottage. Snow White’s Scary Adventures will be removed and an area themed to Disney’s 1937 film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will be built. It will feature Snow White’s cottage and The Seven Dwarfs mine train roller coaster ride. Princess Fairytale Hall, a new Disney Princess meet and greet will be established where Snow White’s Scary Adventures currently exists. Mickey’s Toontown Fair closed permanently in February 2011 in order to make way for the expansion. Some elements of Mickey’s Toontown Fair will be demolished and others will

The Haunted Mansion – Ride-through – Magic Kingdom – Walt Disney World

Here is the complete ride-through for The Haunted Mansion at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. Check the related videos for the companion queue & pre-show video. From Disney.com: The Haunted Mansion is a spooky tour of an ominous haunted house in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom theme park, where a supernatural Ghost Host introduces you to his closest 999 dearly-departed friends. Don’t worry—too much. While Haunted Mansion contains some mildly frightening subject matter, there is no gore, the ghostly residents are friendly and the experience is appropriate for all ages. Enter the mysteriously well-maintained exterior of an 18th-century mansion and find yourself in an ornate estate where anything can happen—and often does. Walking past the entrance foyer and into the ghostly portrait chamber, the air cools and the sense of dread begins to grow. Suddenly, you realize that you are in a room with no windows and no doors! Moving along, you board a “Doom Buggy” and begin your supernatural journey. Your Ghost Host takes you through several dusty rooms, where you can see eerie signs of ethereal awakening. Soon, you encounter the mansion’s resident medium, Madame Leota, who invokes the mansion’s ghost and ghouls to show themselves. What follows has to be seen to not be believed, but suffice to say that you’ve never before seen the dead so lively. The conclusion is definitely more merry than scary, but the sight of wraiths and skeletons—even of the kindest constitution—is
