Romantic Honeymoons in Florida
It is said that destiny decides who you meet in your life, and perhaps that includes your soon-to-be wife or husband. You don’t have to look for that special person because your roads will cross eventually. Most hopeless romantics believe in these things, and there is nothing wrong with it. In fact, these people enjoy any romantic idea that pops into their minds. And when it’s time for their wedding and honeymoon, of course they want it to be romantic as well.
Your wedding is probably the much awaited event in your life, but what happens next? Well, your honeymoon of course. In fact, most couples are looking forward for this special moment when they get to spend time together alone in paradise.
If you haven’t decided where to spend your honeymoon, then you might want to spend it in a beach area in Florida. It is definitely a romantic honeymoon destination that you shouldn’t miss.
Just imagine walking down the seashore with your hands intertwined, as you watch the sun set on the horizon. It’s such a romantic moment. One that you can cherish for as long as you live; and if you agree with this idea, then you must choose a Florida beach escape for your honeymoon.
If you’re looking for an escape paradise for your romantic honeymoon, Florida is the place for you. Sandy beaches extend for miles in Florida, with many attractions and a perfect climate. Most families spend their time in Walt Disney Resorts and other resorts near Orlando, so newly married couples can find the beaches in Florida as the perfect place for relaxing and creating special moments together. The beach sports are quite lovely which almost any couple can enjoy.
Florida Keys is one of the best spots in Florida, and it’s really great for a romantic honeymoon. There are about 1,700 groups of islands and this is one of the best hotspots for honeymooners and other couples. During daytime they can enjoy all the wonders of the beach, and after sunset, they can enjoy their nightlife. Another good thing is that Florida Keys can be reached via Highway 1 and before reaching the place, you have to pass several bridges and roadways. You can have fun while you’re on your way to the islands because of the great places and sceneries along the way.
In the Key West, you can find Inn houses that offer guest rooms and suites. You can also find suites that include amenities such as bamboo ceilings, hot tubs, lagoon spas, and tile floors. You can really feel the tropics because the decorations are quite tropical, with imported fabrics, furniture, and wall displays/hangings. Each room also has air conditioning, private bars, bath amenities, and luxury linens. Aside from that, suites usually have LCD TV’s and internet connection.
You can have the best times of your life with your breakfast served every morning, and you can have it in the poolside or in your patio. And don’t forget to have a beach trip while you’re in the Florida Keys. This is truly a romantic moment that you wouldn’t want to miss for your honeymoon.
Spending your honeymoon in the beaches of Florida is a good experience that will bring you even more closely together. You can have the opportunity to discover each other’s secrets and look forward to a bright future together.

Florida County Map – A Must Have Resource to Explore Your Options
If you are retiring to or buying a home in Florida, a Florida County Map will serve you better than a Florida Counties list in terms of orienting you to the State and one county to another. When you start to research Florida’s counties and Florida’s cities for your new home, you may feel overwhelmed at first. There are an incredible variety of options to choose from. But you can start with some basic information on the different regions of the state. When people discuss Florida’s counties and cities, they usually describe them as being in one of eight very different and distinct regions: Northwest and North Central (normally referred to together as the Panhandle), Northeast, Central West, Central, Central East, Southwest, and Southeast.
The Panhandle area reaches from Alabama to the Suwannee River and you’ll see on your Florida County map that it is a rather thin and flat shape that resembles the ‘handle’ of the rest of the state. Some of the largest of Florida’s cities in this area of the state are Tallahassee, the state capital, and Pensacola and Panama City on the Gulf Coast. It has some of the loveliest stretches of coastline in the state.
Some of the most historic of Florida’s counties and towns are located in the Northeast region. The oldest settlement town in the United States, St. Augustine, is found here in St. John’s County. The largest city in the region is Jacksonville in Duval County, which spans an incredible 841 square miles across the region.
If you are looking for a fast growing region with some of the world’s whitest beaches, then Central West may be right for you. The cities of Tampa, St. Petersburg, Bradenton, and Clearwater are all here. The metropolitan area around Tampa in Hillsborough County is actually the largest in the state – even larger than the city of Miami. The incredibly white beaches stretch about 90 miles along the Gulf Coast. The property in this region is in demand, and Pinellas County is not only one of the most expensive in the state, but it is also the most densely populated.
Known as the ‘heartland’, if you have ever vacationed in Florida, you have likely been to Central Florida – especially if you have children in your life. This region contains the world’s largest concentration of amusement and theme parks, with most of them concentrated around the city of Orlando. Or try one of the 1,000 lakes of Lake County.
Those cities and counties that are famous to race fans and space fans are found in the Central East region. It is the location of the Daytona 500 and other car races, and the home of the NASA Kennedy Space Center. You can tour the center and, if you time it right, watch a Space Shuttle launch.
If a resort area is more your style, you could pick a location in the Southwest region. The cities of Naples and Venice have some excellent choices. Or, the islands of Captiva, Marco, or Sanibel might just fulfill your needs on the Gulf Coast. Your Florida County Map will depict an unusual coast line, where more than 10,000 islands dot the landscape.
Starting at Palm Beach and reaching down to the Keys, Southeast Florida is the region that draws the rich and famous from around the world. You can often find movie stars, rock stars, millionaires and their hangers-on romping around the famous nightlife spots in this region, known as the Gold Coast. You’ve at least heard of the largest cities in this region, even if you haven’t visited them yet: Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Key West, to name a few. A Florida County Map that you can download free of charge can be found at florida-retirement.net.
Salou, Spain
In the state of Catalonia, not far from the Costa Daurada, is the beautiful seaside resort town of Salou. This shimmering heaven on the Mediterranean draws thousands to its shore each year because of its immense beauty but Salou wasn’t always the tourist attraction that it is known as today. Thousands of years ago, during the reigns of the Greek and Roman Empires, Salou was used as a strategically important port during both war and peace. In the middle Ages, Salou was a hotbed of pirate activity that was widely considered one of the most dangerous places in the world. It wasn’t until Spain’s glory days during the 14th and 15th centuries that Salou became a respectable town and it has been a favorite destination for people around the world ever since.
Salou draws many people to its beaches because of the jaw-dropping natural landscape as much as for the wonderful Mediterranean climate. Like other Riviera cities including Nice and Cannes, Salou has wonderfully warm weather in the day and cool, invigorating breezes at night. Much of this ideal climate has to do with the fortuitous placement alongside the rolling hills and mountains of Spain which themselves add to the splendor of the cityscape. In spite of all this gorgeous scenery, many people who flock to Salou eschew the eye candy and instead indulge in one of Salou’s much loved theme parks. Not unlike Orlando, Florida, Salou boasts some incredible manmade attractions that, while not as purely pretty as Spain’s coastline or mountain ranges, are themselves works of art in their own right. Port Aventura, for instance, is an extremely popular theme park that was formerly owned by Universal Studios and is now owned by the country of Spain exclusively. Boasting such major roller coasters as the Dragon Khan and the Hurricane Condor, which has one of the tallest freefalls in the world at over one hundred meters high, Port Aventura is a treasure trove of adventure for children and adults alike. The fastest roller coaster in all of Europe, the Furius Baco, is also found within. The nightlife of Salou is impressive enough but each night, contained within Port Aventura, the stellar Fiesta Aventura occurs. This massive party consists of floats, fireworks, and massive dancing displays that enthrall visitors and create memories at the same time.
Costa Caribe, though smaller in stature than Port Aventura, is another popular theme park in Salou and it helps to further increase the massive tourist traffic that Salou creates each year. Whether you are visiting to take in the immense natural landscape, frolic on the pristine beaches, or take on some of the most horrifying roller coasters in the world, you can rest assured that Salou will steal your heart with its many fantastic diversions. There are many paradises found alongside the Mediterranean but Salou just may take top honors thanks to its eclectic blend of fun, adventure, and beauty. Be forewarned, though: Once you step foot on Salou’s famed Llevante Beach, you may fall in love and never return home again.
For accommodation in Salou check this list of Salou hotels.

Bigger In Texas
The American southwest has often been associated with cowboys, rodeos, wild west shows and ten-gallon hats. But anyone who has visited one of the great metropolitan cities of the southwest will revise that opinion especially if that big city is called “The Bid D” or Dallas Texas.
Dallas reflects that great Texas saying that “everything is bigger in Texas.” As you move about this fast moving town, you will observe that it’s a huge area and it’s people are on the go constantly in this area called “The Metroplex”. Actually, the metropolitan area of Dallas takes in much, much more than just the town itself as this metropolitan area includes Fort Worth, Arlington and dozens of suburbs that have become absorbed into the excitement that is Dallas.
One of the things that will jump out at you about Dallas even as you enter the city by plane or by automobile is the amazing architecture. The city is a shining example of modern buildings of shiny glass and exciting new design concepts. If there were a city that might fit the description of “The City of the Future”, it would be Dallas, Texas.
Few who have spent anytime in this large modern city ever would mistake it for your image of a hick town. Quite the opposite it true. Dallas is as metropolitan and up to date as any city in the world. And if you know the city well, you know that some of the biggest business deals in the world are made right here in Dallas in those towering skyscrapers and powerful banks that make up the Dallas economy.
But don’t think because Dallas is an economic force to be reckoned with that this is not a genuinely Texas town. As you walk about downtown, you will see businessmen sporting the characteristic cowboy hat and fancy boots. No, they are not “playing dress up”. That is a normal mode of dress here in the heart of the southwest. But at the same time that you see people dressed to the height of southern fashion, you will see many who are adorned in the finest that the fashion worlds of New York, Paris or London have to offer.
Sightseeing in Dallas can be a rich and rewarding experience. Dallas boasts some world-class museums and their theme parks have set the standard for family entertainment that even Orlando and California have to work hard to try to top. But one moving experience that is a “must do” of your sightseeing plans is to visit the memorial to President Kennedy and take a walk on the grassy knoll and up into the book repository where that assassin changed the course of American history forever. It is a sobering reminder of the greatness that was lost that day but also a time to show your affection for one of the greatest presidents this country has serve it in it’s long and illustrious history.
After paying your respects, its time to kick up your heels and have some fun. And no city on earth knows better how to show you a great time that The Big D. The restaurants in this town offer the most diverse menus and the finest chefs this side of Paris. And the nightlife is not just isolated to one part of town. You can disco in the suburbs, country line dance in Fort Worth or bump and grind to the best of modern music in downtown Dallas all night long if you have the inclination. There is even a hidden treasure that is a section of downtown that locals can help you find called “Deep Ellum” that will have you convinced you have been teleported to the hippest parts of New York or Piccadilly Circus in London. But before long you will realize where you are when you look up at the huge green neon lined downtown buildings of downtown Dallas and realize that you, like the song says are, “deep in the heart of Texas.” And we think it will be a place you will want to return to again and again.

Family-Friendly Summer Vacations
Choosing the perfect summer vacation can be difficult, especially if you have a family. There area a number of vacation destinations that could be considered “family friend,” but not all are. As a parent, you may be wondering how you can find the perfect summer vacation destination for your family.
When traveling with children, the guidelines used to select a vacation destination change. Instead of choosing a cheap vacation destination or one that is guaranteed to offer excitement, you will need to keep your family in mind. You can do so by targeting your summer vacation destination to the ages of your children. There are a large number of vacation activities that are only suitable for children of a certain age. You are advised to keep these activities in mind when selecting a destination.
Planning a family vacation around your children may seem difficult, but it is something that all parents must to. If you are concerned with the limited number of activities that your child may be able to participate in, you could work to develop their ability to participate. For example, if you are interested in vacationing at the beach, but your child does not know how to swim, you could easily teach him or her. This action could make a beach vacation doable for your family.
Once you have decided which type of family vacation you’d like to take, you can start selecting a destination. When selecting a destination it is also important to examine the destination’s ability to accommodate children. For instance, if you are interested in taking a beach vacation, many families choose to stay away from the South Beach area of Miami. Of course, you can schedule your next vacation there if you’d like; however, the area is well-known for its famous nightlife.
If you are looking for a vacation destination that specifically targets families, you may want to examine vacationing at an amusement park. Amusement parks are located all around the world and they come in a wide variety of different sizes. For shorter vacations, you can visit a smaller amusement park. For longer vacations, you can select an amusement park that is large in size and has overnight accommodations. These amusement parks are not limited to, but are likely to include, Orlando Studios, Six Flags, and Disney World.
Amusement parks are well-known for being “family friendly.” Almost all amusement parks offer a wide range of rides and attractions geared towards individuals of all ages. In addition to targeting adults and teenagers, many amusement parks offer rides and attractions for infants and toddlers. In some areas of the world, amusement parks are the only summer vacation destinations that offer activities that are designed to target toddlers and other small children.
In addition to amusement parks, many families decide to choose a campground or state park as their next summer vacation destination. Camping is a popular outdoor activity. Children of all ages enjoy camping near a lake, pond, stream, or in the woods. In addition to camping, many campgrounds offer activities such as fishing, boating, and outdoor sports. Families with a toddler may want to closely examine their decision to vacation in the wilderness. Toddlers have the ability to quickly move and sneak around. Being outdoors, unsupervised, is unadvised and poses as a danger for many children.
Vacationing at a well-know campground, state park, or amusement park is ideal for families looking to plan a summer vacation. While they are all popular vacation destinations, it is important to remember that they are not the only destinations available. When traveling with children, you can still select the vacation destination of your choice. However, while doing so, you are encouraged to use your best judgment.
With a small amount of research, it is possible to plan the family vacation of your dreams. There are a large number of popular summer vacation destinations that target families as a whole. Booking a vacation at one of these popular destinations is the best way to ensure that everyone will be able to enjoy their summer.
