Things for adults to do at Disney World

Disney World is a special place for children, but when the kids are maxed out on fun the adults might feel that it is time for them to have a little bit of entertainment as well. There are plenty of child care facilities available if you want to get away for an hour or two. These places will be able to offer a lot to keep the kids entertained while you take a much deserved break. Here are some suggestions for adult things to do at Disney World.

If you want something a bit romantic then how about going to watch the evening fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. This really is something special and a sight that you will want to see more than once. It is a nice way to start the evening before moving on to something else.

Disney World has some fine eating establishments that are ideal for a romantic meal. Downtown Disney World is where you will find many great restaurants as well as other entertainment venues. This is also a great place to do a bit of evening shopping.

The Disney Boardwalk is another area where you will find entertainment venues and shopping. It is also just a nice area to wander around and people watch.

Pleasure Island is where the bulk of the adult fun is to be had. If you have a few hours you can go and dance the night away. If you like to party then you will love the carnival atmosphere here. With street parties and adult entertainment everywhere you look; you will have no excuse for boredom at Disney World.

Disney’s Polynesian Resort is another great place to go in the evenings. Here you will feel like you have been whisked away to a tropical paradise. You can lounge around in a hammock or just lie on the beautiful beach. You might even decide that an evening swim is called for. If you are lucky enough to get a room at the hotel then you will really have found an oasis and a great base for your time in Disney World.

If you don’t feel like leaving the kids then why not create your own romantic location in your hotel room. Many rooms in the different hotels come with balconies and once the kids are asleep you will be able to arrange for room service to provide you a nice meal and maybe even a bottle or two of wine. This is a lovely way to spend the evening so long as the children manage to get to sleep.

Disney World might be the place the every child dream of going it can also be the holiday of a lifetime for adults as well. This is why people who visit love to come back again and again. There are people who travel from abroad that have only ever visited this part of the United States and have no real plans of going anywhere else. If you visit you might not want to holiday anywhere else again either.
